WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Formation Games is looking for a Product Manager with a strong focus on Live Operations Monetization, and Data Analysis to help drive the performance of a live free-to-play game. The role is highly analytical and execution-oriented, with a strong emphasis on using data to operate live features and events and to identify opportunities for design improvements. You will report directly to the Product Management Lead and work closely with game design, UA, and development teams.


WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

  • Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will:

    • Plan, implement, and operate live-ops initiatives such as events, promotions, and in-game offers

    • Monitor and develop a deep understanding of game KPIs, including engagement, retention, monetization, and live-ops performance

    • Analyze and report game performance and player behavior to identify opportunities for growth and optimization

    • Communicate performance insights and recommendations clearly to key stakeholders

    • Use data insights to iterate on live features, offers, and feature balance, collaborating with design and product to refine economies, progression, and rewards to improve player retention and monetization

    • Expand and optimize existing monetization offers and live-ops content using A/B testing, using data and expertise to improve storefront and live ops plans

    • Define the requirements and inform priorities for internal product and live-ops tools

    • Build business cases for new features informed by market trends and performance data

    • Own the end-to-end execution of operational plans, including identifying risks, defining mitigation strategies, and ensuring smooth delivery

    • Collaborate with engineering team to define tracking, dashboards, and reporting needed to support decision-making
